Upland Infinite Wisdom - A beer for philosophers and scholars [Lville Beer]

Upland Infinite Wisdom - A beer for philosophers and scholars [Lville Beer]
Read on to find out if Upland's Infinite Wisdom did indeed increase my knowledge base...or if it just provided me with a nice buzz.

We drink beer for a lot of different reasons.  Some people drink for an escape from the day's trials, some share a drink with friends to bond, others drink for the health benefits (I still get somewhat aggravated that wine gets such a better health rap than beer).  Last night I stopped by Buckhead (3020 Bardstown Road) as they rolled out their craft beer app at this location (you may remember that I reviewed the Rocky's roll

Va Va Valentine: Most fun I've had since their last show [Dance]

The vixens have officially found their groove. Opening night of Va Va Valentine was a smashing success, tantalizing a sold out crowd with standing room only. I think this show would be the perfect ending to spending a date at a spa/salon with your mate. Make yourselves dapper and pampered before spoiling yourselves at this show.

Sweet, Sweet Sapporo [Food & Dining]

Mango sushi and flaming presentation make Sapporo a tried and true favorite.

Some say sushi has become about as overdone as cupcakes or bacon or any other trendy food that comes and goes. I say, who could ever get tired of sushi?

The least sexy wet t-shirt contest ever: a runner's diary (finale) [Humor]
The eternal struggle between moron and fitness finally comes to an end.

On Saturday, February 4th, the final leg of the Polar Bear Grand Prix was held in Cherokee Park.  The Snowman Shuffle 4 Miler presented a challenging conclusion to the racing series for the tens of billions of runners who traveled from the farthest reaches of the planet to participate (possible overstatement – I suck at counting).  Shockingly enough, at no point did the race transform into a violent free-for-all of carnage and bloodshed, despite my best efforts.

A shot of Bourbon with The Bottom Sop [Music]

The Bottom Sop are like straight, Kentucky bourbon whiskey

The Bottom Sophttp://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Bottom-Sop/197747156905354 is similar to a fine straight Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey, smooth with a bite. The sound of traditional country music returns leaving the glam pop of Nashville in the dust. They are breathing fresh air into an old-time sound.
