I am a Kentucky Department of Criminal Justice Training Certified Instructor to teach Kentucky Concealed Carry Deadly Weapons License Applicant classes. Classes are offered state wide. The course is availabe in both large and small settings. If you would like to get a group of friends together, we have a group rate. If you would like to attend one of the community classes, they are offered monthly. Group rates are available. One-Night Extreme Art and Temperature Exhibition at Water Tower
Third Thursday: Fire & Ice - Temperature and Visual Extremes Louisville Artists Syndicate Hosts Third Thursday Art Exhibition at Water Tower LOUISVILLE, KY (Feb. 16, 2012) – The Louisville Artists Syndicate is hosting an evening of visual and temperature extremes during its monthly Third Thursday Art, February 16, 7-9:00 pm at the Louisville Water Tower. The single night exhibition features live ice carving by several of Louisville’s best ice sculptors, performances by the fire-spinning troop group Art After Dark, a dramatic laser art demonstration and a fire & ice-themed art exhibition. The musical guest is Busted Souls, a popular local bluegrass group. A $5 donation at the door covers and entertainment and refreshments. Usually held at the Water Tower, Third Thursdays are monthly social networking events designed to bring together local artists, filmmakers and musicians in a entertaining atmosphere where they can share with artistic talent with other creative-types and people interested in art. Third Thursdays always offer a bizarre mixture of raw talent and imaginative interpretation of traditional and non-traditional mediums, as well as unique live performance art. Fire & Ice sponsors include Falls City Beer, Doo Wop Shop, Welch Printing, Full Event Productions, MIC-ZEEs Ice, Preston Arts Center. Anyone interested in art is encouraged to attend.
