Runners on a Mission kicks off its 2011 Kentucky Derby Festival Marathon and miniMarathon training with its 6th anniversary group Reunion and Recruitment event. Louisville seniors can now join Healthways SilverSneakers fitness program through four local community centers, thanks to a new partership with Metro Parks, making it even easier for residents to particpate.
Healthways SilverSneakers, a leading social support and exercise program available to Medicare health plan members and group retirees nationwide, is now available for Louisville seniors at four of Louisville's Metro Parks Community Centers, in addition to other already participating fitness centers.
