15Thousand Farmers congregate bi-monthly for a good food revolution--hail or shine. Next workshop April 23rd!
Despite the impending bad weather at the last 15Thousand Farmers "Beginning Food Growing 101" workshop that took place two Saturdays ago (April 9), there was a decent dozen or so folk that turned-out to learn some food growing basics.

Cooking shows being all the rage with a new one replacing another each new season on any number of channels, and embarrassingly I’m a super-fan.  Sure there is Gordon Ramsey, Bobby Flay, Bordain, Dean, (and that fuzzy Ewok, Emeril) in the television world, but they reach a point of stardom...

When Wild Ginger Sushi Bistro opened just a few doors from Sapporo Japanese Steakhouse in October 2010, some questioned whether that Highlands stretch of Bardstown Road could support another sushi-centered restaurant. So far the answer is undoubtedly yes.

While I’m not sure the servers at Mozz knew I was a reviewer, I am sure of one thing: I wasn’t unnoticed. No one is. This restaurant presents itself as many things — a fine-dining establishment, a jazz venue, the Market Street Bar and the Mozz Bar — all of it sprawled across much of the first floor of the Cobalt Building on the corner of Market and Jackson streets.

The new location, directly across the street from the old one, sports not only 10 times more room but also a full liquor license, with a wisely chosen beer and wine list whose offerings pair well with spicy Asian food.
