Come join us at our regularly scheduled socials every 2nd Wednesday of the month. This month we will be at The Troll Pub Under the Bridge, a brand new subterranean sports pub located beneath the Whiskey Row Lofts, next to the Clark Bridge (2nd Street Bridge) and KFC Yum! Center (look for the large troll). This newly renovated space “ranks among the most appealing downtown renovations in recent years” according to Metro Mix and features arched limestone doorways, exposed brick walls, an urban courtyard, and a hidden private room (make sure to ask us for secret password). So come join us as we mingle with Louisville’s finest newbies! Plan to meet in the bar area. Look for the signs and people with New2Lou nametags.
What is New2Lou? New2Lou is a social organization designed as a resource for transplants to Louisville, who are looking to meet people, try new places and get involved in Louisville. The second Wednesday of each month, New2Lou hosts a social at a local restaurant or bar, where people mingle and meet other newcomers, as well as meet locals who provide insiders’ information to make the transition to Louisville a smooth one.
What do we do? Socialize, meet new people, ask advice for places to eat, go to the doctor, live, park, etc. Where can I hear free music? Best drink specials on Wednesdays? What about my haircut? Where do I get breakfast at 4 in the morning? Come find out why people are moving to Louisville and why they can leave but almost always come back.

Hello...Are you interested in learning more about self-protection? Are you interested in getting your gun permit? Are you ready to refuse to be a victim? If you answered, yes to any of these questions, please contact me. I am a Kentucky Department of Criminal Justice Training Certified Instructor to teach Kentucky Concealed Carry Deadly Weapons License Applicant classes. Classes are offered state wide. The course is availabe in both large and small settings. If you would like to get a group of friends together, we have a group rate. If you would like to attend one of the community classes, they are offered monthly. Group rates are available.
