The Kentucky Horse Park's premiere event begins today with dressage which continues through tomorrow. Saturday brings cross country jumping with amazing Rolex horses jumping obstacles that are works of art. The event ends Sunday with the stadium jumping phase.
Rolex Kentucky has begun. Wednesday the cross country course was open to walk and the first horse inspections began to determine if all competing horses were sound to begin the competition.

The portrait of many shelter dogs jump out at you with their soulful presence at the non-profit An Act of Dog in Mellwood Arts Center. You are awed by the amazing talent of artist Mark Barone. All of these dogs were euthanized at animal shelters. This is the reason that An Act of Dog exists, to prevent other dogs from their sad fate.
Mark Barone and Marina Dervan are co-founders of the non-profit “An Act of Dog” which strives to make our country a no-kill nation for shelter pets.
