Baseball season is upon us once again and in honor of that I take a look at some of the greats to come through area college teams.
Ladies and gentleman, we stand on the precipice of baseball season.  By the way, I just really wanted to use the word precipice to be honest I’m not even sure that applies here.

Defense was at a premium in Freedom Hall on Friday as the Kentucky Derby Festival kicked off festivities with the Basketball Classic, the White team defeated the black team, 130-127. Three Indiana recruits, One Louisville recruit, and possibly one Kentucky recruit, as well as other Top recruits were all in action. Check out the sights and see how the players fared.

The Bats made a furious ninth inning comeback but came up short Friday night vs the Columbus Clippers.
Two pitches into their game against the Columbus Clippers Friday night it looked as if the Louisville Bats were off to another hard hitting performance as Daryl Jones led the game off with a solo home run. That was not the case as the Bats failed to get another hit until the sixth inning.
