The 20th annual Americana World Festival: Where Louisville Meets the World will be held Saturday, June 5, 2010 from 11AM to 9PM at 4801 Southside Drive in Louisville. The event will feature a full day of great performers from diverse cultures (including Chinese dancers, Burundi drummers, an Iraqi musician, a bluegrass/Latin fusion group and a Puerto Rican salsa band, and many others), as well as a selection of delicious food, fun games and activities for children, craft vendors, and our second annual soccer tournament. The Americana World Festival is a major part of the international community's experience in our city every year, but is also a free, family-friendly event for all Louisville residents to enjoy! In 2009, a crowd of 5,000 people took in the lively, exciting atmosphere while learning about and experiencing the diversity of international cultures represented in Louisville Metro!
