The Ancient Order of Hibernians (AOH), who also bring to Louisville the Baxter Avenue/Bardstown Road St. Patrick’s Parade, and Molly Malone’s Irish Pub will host the Third Annual Irish Christmas Celebration on Wednesday, December 3, 2008 from 5-10pm. The special event, which will benefit Father Maloney’s Boys’ Haven will take place at Molly Malone’s Irish Pub and Restaurant at 933 Baxter Avenue. A $5 suggested donation will be collected at the door.
Guests will enjoy live music from The Derby Boys Irish pub band and bluegrass performers Hickory & Friends, as well as an official AOH bagpipe procession. In addition to their regular dinner menu, Molly Malone’s will offer a specially- crafted Irish dish of BBC Hibernian Red Beer Battered Fish and Chips. Other Irish Christmas activities include an Irish magician, a performance by Irish dancers, and a special visit from the bearded man himself (otherwise known as Santa). A percentage of all sales at Molly Malone's that evening will benefit Father Maloney's Boys' Haven.
