Affairs, secrets, and murders are investigated when Little Colonel Playhouse presents Murder in Green Meadows beginning this week.

Murder in Green Meadows will take place on Apr. 18, 19, 20, 26, and 27 at 8 p.m. each night.  Matinees, meanwhile, will occur Apr. 21 and 28 at 2:30 p.m. each day.  All performances are to happen at Little Colonel Playhouse, located at 302 Mount Mercy Drive in Pewee Valley, KY.

Tickets for each show are $15 for adults, $12 for senior citizens 60 and over, and $12 for students.  Due to limited seating, reservations are highly recommended and can be made by calling 502-588-1557.  Keep in mind that Little Colonel Playhouse does not accept credit cards.

Murder in Green Meadows focuses on a seemingly happy situation between two suburban couples in middle America.  However, as the play rolls on, secrets are revealed, including a sexual relationship with a lawn boy, an affair with another person in town, and a plot to kill that man.

Jamie Lentz directed Murder in Green Meadows, which Douglas Post created.  The cast includes Jeff Mangum, John Hess, Tracy Bond Bird, and Candy Thomas.

Following Murder in Green Meadows, Little Colonel Playhouse will present Becky's New Car.  Auditions for the show will happen on Apr. 21 and 22, and the show will run in June.  More information on the show can be found at the Little Colonel Playhouse website.
