On Thursday, April 26, all 20 horses presented to the ground jury were accepted to compete in the Ariat Kentucky Reining Cup. This inspection is to ensure the horses are sound and in condition to compete.
A separate panel of judges awarded Ariat prizes for the best-dressed man and best-dressed woman at the first horse inspection.
Mandy McCutcheon of Aubrey, Texas, won the women’s category.
Casey Hinton, of Whitesboro, Texas, won the men’s category.
