APASSIONATA hails from Europe where it has thrilled over five million fans from 15 countries for almost a decade and will make its U.S. debut at Freedom Hall in Louisville, Kentucky from April 27-29 with four shows as part of the Kentucky Derby Festival.
It features 40 live performing horses including such breeds as Friesians, and rarely seen in this country Bretons. Exciting stunt riding, fabulously trick trained horses, and at liberty dressage will feature some of the best performing riders and horses in the world. Graceful horsemanship and beautiful music choreographed together highlights the beauty and majesty of the horse and riders’ performances.
Prospect, Kentucky resident and native from Iceland, Gudmar Petursson, joins the production with his troupe of Icelandic horses and riders.
