Assumption High School will continue its run of the spring play Crimes of the Heart this weekend.
Crimes of the Heart will be performed on April 25, 26, and 28 at 7 p.m. each night. A matinee show will occur on April 29 at 1 p.m. All performances are to happen at Assumption High School, located in the Highlands at 2170 Tyler Lane.
Tickets for each show are $10 for adults, $7 for students, and $7 for senior citizens. Tickets can be purchased at the door or at the Assumption High School website.
The comedy-drama Crimes of the Heart is a comedy-drama centered on three McGrath sisters, Lenny, Meg, and Babe, who attempt to figure out their lives while also waiting on news of their dying grandfather. Lenny, the eldest of the sisters, is seeking marriage, even though she's turning 30. Meg, meanwhile, is recovering from a failed singing career. Finally, Babe, tries to move on after her stint in jail.
Crimes of the Heart has also been performed recently at Bunbury Theatre and at Floyd Central High School. More information on the show can be found at the Assumption High School website.
