Best Place to Watch Indiana Fourth of July Fireworks [Southern Indiana]

Print

As Indiana residents, we have legal access to our pick of the best fireworks available. However, the best fireworks are expensive, and I often find it hard to justify spending so much money on them when there are so many great fireworks shows around town. So instead of blowing your paycheck on fireworks this year, consider catching the Kiwanis Fireworks Display.

The Kiwanis Fireworks Display is a Fourth of July fireworks show held at the Old Capitol Golf Course in Corydon. Because it's in Corydon, it's usually much less crowded than anything in Louisville. If you want to avoid the mess and crowds of the Waterfront Independence Festival, the Kiwanis Fireworks Display is a good alternative.

Where the fireworks shows in Louisville are preceded by live music, art shows, and kids' attractions, the Kiwanis Fireworks Display is solely a fireworks show. The fireworks go off at 10 p.m., so get there early and bring something to sit on.

TY for the article! We'd love to join the show. Is it being held Saturday night on the 3RD or will the show actually be on the 4TH? Thanks.
