Breaking: Zenyatta not a morning scratch [Breeders' Cup]

Print

Because no one seems to care about a horse other than Zenyatta at Breeders' Cup 2010, we thought we'd point out that Zenyatta made it through the entire morning without being scratched from the Breeders' Cup Classic at 6:30 p.m.

These horses, however, were not so fortunate and are leaving Churchill Downs in disgrace, once now proud competitiors, now like heading to a plate at a bistro in the Marais. Lip smack!

  • Race 9: $1 million Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile, #8 Crown of Thorns
