Day 2 of the Breeders' Cup brought out very few celebrities and, as with the previous day, they were generally connected to the event itself. Bo Derek once again was a fixture in the winners circle in her role as a member of the California Horse Racing Board. Also spotted in the winner circle was retired jockey Pat Day (pictured at the beginning of this piece). According to the infallible Wikipedia, Day is the all-time leading rider at Churchill Downs and Keeneland Race Course.
Also present was some blond soap opera chic name Susan some-thing-or-other. I dont have much time for stories, so I didn’t recognize her when a local news channel did a brief interview. If you saw her at Breeders please comment and let me know if you remember her last name.
