Here's a quick rundown of events during Breeders' Cup weekend. Follow all of Louisville.com's Breeders' Cup coverage at "Breeders' Cup 2010 is at Churchill Downs Nov. 5-6, and so is Louisville.com."

Thursday, Nov. 4

Autograph signing with jockey Robby Albarado, winner of many Breeders’ Cup races, most notably the 2007 Breeders’ Cup Classic when he won with Curlin. Albarado’s racing career includes over 4,000 victories in two decades and he may add a few more at the 2010 Breeders’ Cup. This event is free and open to the public. 9 a.m. at Kroger, 270 Hubbards Ln.

Breeders’ Cup Brunch, the kickoff event of the Breeders’ Cup, hosted by EPSN personality and sportswriter Kenny Mayne, Bob Valvano of the V Foundation for Cancer Research. This year’s featured speaker is Bo Derek, actress, animal activist, and member of the California Horse Racing Board. Proceeds from the brunch benefits the V Foundation for Cancer Research. Tickets are sold by table, or by person for $200. For more ticket sales or information, call 502-636-4575. 10:30 a.m. at the Galt House Hotel and Suites grand ballroom

Breeders’ Cup Handicapping Summit, a panel discussion of all the Breeders’ Cup races. Get inside handicapping information from racing industry experts, including Jill Byrne, Churchill Downs and HRTV racing analyst, Mark Johnson, Churchill Downs announcer and commentator, Mike Maloney, professional horseplayer, James Scully, editor-in-chief of Bloodstock Journal and Handicapper’s Edge, and Daily Racing Form handicappers Byron King, Mike Watchmaker, and Mike Welsch. Tickets are $50/person, available online from Churchill Downs or at the on-track box office. 6:15 p.m. at the Churchill Downs clubhouse.

Friday, Nov. 5

Official Breeders’ Cup after party at Prime Lounge, the place to be after the races. Prime Lounge is an upscale bar where partiers dress to impress. The nightlife surrounding Derby is already famous (or infamous) but these after parties at Prime will put the Breeders” Cup on the social map too. Music by DJ Vice. Admission is free, courtesy of the Breeders” Cup. For VIP tables, call 587-7463. 9 p.m.-2 a.m.

Saturday, Nov. 6

Official after party at Prime Lounge, round two of post-race partying. Music by DJ Ross One, admission is free, courtesy of the  Breeders’ Cup. 9 p.m.-2 a.m.
