Day 1 of the Breeders' Cup brought out a few celebrities. But unlike Derby, where it seems every C-lister shows up in a minidress and giant hat (looking at you Johnny Weir), these celebs were all directly connected to the event itself.

Bo Derek (above): Derek is a member of the California Horse Racing Board and braved the cold in the winner's circle for most, if not all of the races.

Bobby Flay and Stephanie March: This married celebrity chef and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (SVU to you) actress own the filly More Than Real, the winner of the $1 million Juvenile Fillies Turf race.

Toby Keith: The country singer was in Louisville after headlining Thursday night's Breeders' Cup Winners Circle Celebration at the KFC Yum! Center. Here he is yesterday with Emirates rep Meredith Strodel in the Jockey Club Suites at Churchill.
