The Louisville Fire Arena 2 football team will kick off their 2008 season this Saturday night at Brown Forman field at Freedom Hall at 7PM. While the Fire will have returning players from last season, they will also be featuring 13 rookies on the roster this year.
Tommy Johnson just signed a 2-year extension as head coach of the team, as the 2007 season proved to be a record breaking year for the Louisville Fire. The Fire led the league in offensive rushing yardage with 547 yards and 38 touchdowns.
