Cake, Coffee, Jazz, Beer and Auctions to Benefit Old Louisville's Pizza Guy

Print Adam Tatum, owner of Oak Street Pizza, was shot October 5, 2008 during an attempted robbery in his restaurant. Adam is now out of the hospital and working on making a full recovery. Naturally though he’s been out of business since the shooting and there are medical bills to pay. While this is a tragedy it’s also presented the Louisville foodie and restaurant community a chance to do some real good and that’s just what they are doing. Today at Derby City Espresso $1 from every drink sold will be donated to help Adam. From 6PM-Midnight there’s going to be a fundraising festival of epic proportions with live jazz (starting at 9PM, a live auction, a silent auction and Marsha Lynch, pastry chef of my dreams at Cafe Lou Lou, will be selling slices of her divine cakes with all of the proceeds going to Adam. Here are the planning lots for the live and silent auctions, info taken from the Louisville HotBytes forum post with auction details. LIVE AUCTION LOTS (not necessarily in this order!
