Calling All Artists! Collegiate School Wants You!

Looking to get more exposure for your very own Van Gogh or Picasso original pieces of artwork?  Louisville Collegiate School’s Art in the Highlands is offering a chance to be involved! This community-wide event featuring more than 100 juried regional and national artists is a great chance to see and be seen by the regional art community!

After the festival’s inaugural year in 2009, officials plan to make the follow up even bigger and better than before!  The show features various mediums including oil paintings, water colors, mixed-media, pottery, jewelry, photography and much more.  The deadline for applications must be postmarked by March 22nd in order to be considered for jury.

The event will take place on September 18 and 19 on Collegiate’s campus at 2427 Glenmary Avenue from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.  If you’re an artist looking to get your artwork seen by the local and regional communities- this is YOUR opportunity.  Get your brushstrokes, modeling, sculpting or inking together and apply by March 22.

For more information about the jury process or to get involved please contact Jennifer Hartlage, 502.479.0345 or e-mail
