Let me tell you that, in the last month, I have been asked three times to name my favorite song. Each time, the only one that has come to mind is Cher’s “Believe.” Let me also tell you that this probably isn’t actually my favorite song, but when put under pressure, my brain turns to this iconic song that has basically been guiding me through my entire life (I was six when the chart topper was released).
Imagine my reaction when I found out that Goddess of Pop, Cher, is playing the KFC YUM! Center on Monday, June 2.
The Dressed To Kill Tour is a 63-show tour in support of her 25th studio album, Closer to the Truth. Special guests on the tour include Pat Benetar, Neil Giraldo and Cyndi Lauper. Lauper will be playing the Louisville show and all of Cher’s shows until July 11.
The concert promises a great show, complete with fabulous costumes, an amazing setup and performances covering Cher’s entire career in music, television and film – All the way back to the days of “I Got You, Babe.”
The 67-year old music legend is calling Dressed To Kill her final tour, so be sure to grab your tickets here – The tour ends in October and ticket prices look to be ranging from about $60 all the way to $500.
While you wait for the show, do yourself a favor and check out Cher’s Twitter page, here. The woman is not only a musical goddess with cheekbones sculpted by Michelangelo himself, but actually pretty hilarious. Here are a few gems compiled by Buzzfeed:
