Headliners, BIG BRO RECORDS, and Crazy Train "Tribute to Ozzy" team up to hold concert featuring Hip-Hop, Rock , R&B, and Soul Bands @ Headliners Music Hall on Thursday December 16th at 8pm. Admission is a Toy
This years event has a "new twist". What started out 11 years ago with the Louisville Tribute band Crazy Train Hosting the show at the Toy Tiger has now evolved into a multi genre event with Crazy Train collaborating with HIP HOP, R&B, and SOUL music.
Pat Bareis, Singer (Ozzy) for Crazy Train has turned the reins over to his son Jason Bareis. "The times have changed and so has the music and the artist" states Bareis.
"Over the years we've been blessed to be able to distribute thousands of toys to children who otherwise might not get a thing."
This years Line-Up features Nashvilles rap artist Haystak, JB of BIG BRO RECORDS, Uncle Herman and the Kings of Love Soul band, the Ozzy tribute Crazy Train, Sub-Urban R&B, Acoustipimps live band, Lil Witness rap artist from Baton Rouge, and Spike Davis (Louisville's nationally renowned comedian) is going to make a special appearance.
Bareis adds "These Hip Hop kids really stepped up and got involved in theis christmas show and hopefully will continue to do this for years to come. We always had great support from the rock groups and their fans, but hip hop is the present and future.
Alot of these kids are from disenfranchised families and really want to be a part of something positive."
Toys raised from this event go to kids that other organizations miss. "The angel tree, salvation army, and the toys for tots do a great job year after year. But we realized years ago that they really can't reach all the kids who need help." Says Jason Bareis "We reach the kids who fall through the cracks and hopefully when they do, we'll have some toys waiting on them".
