Cinderella

Get ready to have a ball with Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella when it premieres for YMCA's Family Theatre on July 20.

Cinderella performances will go on July 20, 21, 27, and 28 at 7:30 p.m. each night.  Matinees, meanwhile, will take place on July 22 and 29 at 2 p.m. each day.  All performances are to happen at Providence High School, 707 Providence Way in Clarksville, IN, inside the Sam and Paula Robinson Performing Arts Center.

Tickets for this show are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, and $10 for children.  Tickets can be purchased at the door.  More information on the show can be found by contacting Bryce Blair at 812-283-9622 or email at bblair@ymcasi.org.

Cinderella is a take on the classic fairy tale featuring a young lady who is essentially a slave to her wicked stepsisters and evil stepmother.  That all changes thanks to a ball, a glass slipper, and a Fairy Godmother.  Don't expect the Disney version of Cinderella as this version was created by Rodgers and Hammerstein.

Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella features Casey Shuler in the title role, Grace Poganski as the Stepmother, and Annette Robinson as the Fairy Godmother.
