If you're looking for a little something different for your weekday cuisine, why not check out a Louisville Originals Restaurant at Avalon, 1314 Bardstown Road, next Tuesday night for their Craft Beer Dinner?
For $50, visitors will enjoy an all-inclusive evening at Avalon complete with 6 select craft beers including the seasonal selection "Christmas Ale". Guest speaker Lisa Farmer from Great Lakes will guide guests through 4 dinner courses and beer pairings.
As Andy Stivers from Avalon gives us the story behind the dinner, "I think that there is a growing trend on craft beer in the US and Louisville (Highlands) is a prime example of that. The beer dinner gives the guests a chance to try multiple beers on each course with the pupose of showing how beer can bring out different flavors in food similar to the same experience one can have with wine."
Along with the Beer Craft Dinner, Avalon will also be celebrating their normal Tuesday night special of half price bottles of wine and beer throughout the evening.
Seating is limited, so reservations for the dinner are required. Make reservations today for the Beer Craft Dinner by calling (502) 454-5336.
