There are 15 days of the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games, and in addition to the equestrian competitions there are activities, entertainment opportunities and attractions. Louisville.com will be identifying the best of what the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games identifies as the Daily Must-Sees. To enjoy these non-competition activities you can get a Grounds Pass for $25 each day. Grounds Pass tickets allow entry to the games for the selected day of purchase but they do not grant access to competition venues or competition venue seating. You will need to purchase separate tickets for these events.
Day one, Sept. 25: In addition to the ticketed reining events today check out the demonstrations starting at 10 a.m. at the Equine Village. Many breed organizations, including the Irish Draught, Connemara Pony Society, and American Morgan Horse Association will showcase their breeds at the Village Arena throughout the day. Then at 7 p.m. the pageantry of the Opening Ceremonies begin. This event touts “equine entertainers, over 200 horses, a symphony orchestra, dancers, headline musicians, movement corps as well as local and international celebrities and dignitaries."
