Where exactly do we go once another person passes away? One woman will figure out the answer in Dead Man's Cell Phone, which Theatre 502 will present beginning today.
Dead Man's Cell Phone will take place on June 21, 22, 24, 28, and 29 at 8 p.m. each night. All performances are to happen at The Baron's Theater, located at 131 West Main Street in downtown Louisville.
Tickets for each show are $15 per person and can be purchased at the door. More information on the show can be found at the Theatre 502 Facebook page.
Dead Man's Cell Phone finds one woman going on an unexpected journey to give a dead man a life he may have wanted. Jean is the girl who answer's Gordon's cell phone. After the call, Jean's journey will include righting wrongs, situations in which she may not be able to handle, and gaining an understanding of grief and love. She may also figure out the answer to the question of where we go after someone else dies.
Sarah Ruhl created Dead Man's Cell Phone, which Gil Reyes directed for Theatre 502. Cast members include: Susan Brooks, Ryan Lash, Becky LeCron, Robert McFarland, Beth Tantanella, and Dara Tiller.
