Derby City Comic Con is returning to the Kentucky International Convention Center next weekend, June 28th and 29th, and the event just keeps getting bigger and better.
Guests include New York Times bestselling author and writers Mark Waid (Daredevil, Hulk, Kingdom Come), Robert Venditti (Green Lantern, The Flash, Surrogates), and Tony Moore (co-creator of the Walking Dead) as well as 225 other exhibitors and comic creators. Many of the creators, exhibitors, and even vendors are local to the Louisville area.
Other events include a silent auction to benefit Kosair Charities, a costume contest, parties at Haymarket Whiskey Bar on both Friday and Saturday night, and a kids corner with plenty of activities for the little geeks in your life! Plus, there will be even more panels this year including Cosplay 101 and Advanced Cosplay, Comic to Film Translations, Gender Through Comic Books, and so many more.
Admission is only $10 per day or $15 for a weekend pass, and kids 12 and under get in free with a paying adult.
