The church basement ladies couldn't stay away from Derby Dinner, and starting tomorrow, they'll be serving up more laughs in Church Basement Ladies 2: A Second Helping.

Ticket prices depend on the day.  Friday evening shows are $41 per person, Saturday evening shows are $44, Sunday matinees are $36, Wednesday matinees are $35, and all other nights are $40 per person.  Tickets can be purchased at the Derby Dinner Playhouse website, the box office, or by calling the box office at 812-288-2636.  More information on the show can also be found at the Derby Dinner Playhouse website.

The Church Basement Ladies have returned for a second helping of laughs and good time songs.  The ladies, while serving up their special blend of fun, find strength in each other as the church and the world around them, circa 1969, are changing.

Greta Grosch created Church Basement Ladies 2: A Second Helping alongside Drew Jansen and Dennis Curley.

The cast features Elizabeth Loos as Vivian Snustad, Tina Jo Wallace as Mavis Gilmerson, Janet Essenpreis as Karin Engelson, Michelle Johnson as Signe Engelson, and Cary Wiger as Pastor E.L. Gunderson.  Bekki Jo Schneider directed the production, which features musical direction from Scott Bradley and choreography from Barbara Cullen.

Following Church Basement Ladies, Derby Dinner Playhouse will present the Agatha Christie mystery The Mousetrap.  Meanwhile, the childrens theatre will open Captain Louie.  Both productions will begin in October.
