Maybe this scenario has happened to you. You're sitting at a restaurant or bar with a group of friends. You look down at your phone to check texts or Facebook. Then you look up and everyone else is doing the same thing. Nobody is actually talking to each other.
Abandon your phone (or whatever device you're using these days) and come to the Digital Detox at Garage Bar this Wednesday between 5 and 11 p.m. for some good, ol' fashioned fun. According to the Facebook event, crafts and board games will be involved. The biggest challenge will be not pulling your phone out to snap a pic of it all.
Oh yeah, and bring a donation for Kentucky Harvest.
