Savage Rose Theatre Company’s rendition of Shakespeare’s comedy, Much Ado About Nothing will finish up its run next weekend, February 6 at Walden Theater, 1123 Payne Street. With week night and weekend matinee performances, there’s a time to fit even the busiest schedules!
Founder and Producing Artistic Director J. Barrett Cooper, brings the witty masterpiece to Louisville. Characters Claudio, Hero, Beatrice, and Benedick return to the stage to bring humor, deception, jealousy and grief as only Shakespeare’s stories can do. This classic will leave audience members entertained with the ability of foreshadowing, and in exchange, experiencing the loss and sadness at the thought of what might have been.
Savage Road Theatre Company is a Louisville based production company that specializes in classics of not only the works of Shakespeare but also works by the Greeks, French Neo-Classicist, the English Restoration, 19th Century Melodramas and many others, including modern classics as well.
Catch the performances January 27-30th and February 4-6 at 7:30 PM and February 6th at a special matinee showing at 2 PM. Tickets are $10 and reservations can be made by calling (502) 599-3011.
