Chef Edward Lee's new cookbook, Smoke & Pickles, won't be released until May 1st, but you have the chance to get a signed copy this evening! The chef himself will be on hand for a book signing at Carmichael's Bookstore on Frankfort Avenue at 7 PM.
An after party (with lots of bourbon) will be held at his new restaurant, Milkwood, after the signing.
This cookbook is highly-anticipated and highly-regarded by Lee's peers. It contains plenty of intriguing anecdotes written by Lee himself, and the recipes were all developed with home cooks in mind.
