Eternal Health Yoga at 3410 Frankfort Avenue will host a food-tasting fundraiser from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Jan. 7 for Stanley Chase III, a cook who is trying to start a vegan food truck business in Louisville. Chase needs $12,000 to get Morels Vegan Food Truck started. He is raising money through the website Kickstarter. According to the site, Chase will use the money to buy and paint the truck, obtain necessary licenses and permits, and buy food to get things going. Chase is halfway to his financial goal. Some of Chase's planned dishes include buffalo seitan wings, vegan chicken salad and banh mi hot dogs, which will be served at the fundraiser.
