Mother's Day has come and gone, but Kingfish at Zorn Avenue and River Road wants to celebrate moms--and families--again this Sunday. On May 19 from 4:00-7:00 pm, bring the family out for a day of (cheap) fun and know that your dinner dollars will go to some female and family-friendly causes: the Louisville Children's Museum and Susan G. Komen of Louisville.
Kudmani, the self-proclaimed "ultimate party band," will get the young and old(er) ones grooving while you chow down on fish and hushpuppies. The "celebration of moms" theme continues with lots of activities that will keep the kids busy so that mom can actually enjoy her meal or beverage. Just a $1 donation--benefitting the building of the Louisville Children's Museum and Susan G. Komen of Louisville--will allow the kids to get their faces painted, make cards and bracelets with the Girl Scouts, and show their soccer skills on an obstacle course provided by Mockingbird Valley Soccer. Really, just $1! According to the Louisville Children's Museum's facebook page, they will also have chances to win passes to Atlantis Waterpark.
