Aresenic and Old Lace will run around two hours and is appropriate for all ages. More information on tickets can be found at the Kentucky Center website. Arsenic and Old Lace is a comedy that finds drama critic Mortimer Brewster trying to handle a family that craves murder. His two seemingly sweet elder aunts killing off seemingly sweet older gentlemen via aresenic, strychnine, and a little cyanide. A man, believing himself to be Teddy Roosevelt, buries the bodies.

As if that wasn't enough, there is also a Boris Karloff-looking brother who also enjoys murder. The Karloff look, by the way, is plastic surgery that an accomplice, with a major taste for alcohol, gave him to hide his true identity.

Amy Lewis directed Aresenic and Old Lace for Louisville Repertory Company. The cast includes Tiffany Taylor as Abby Brewster, Ron Dawson as The Reverend Dr. Harper and Mr. Witherspoon, Darren McGee as Teddy Brewster, Sean Childress as Jonathan Brewster, Todd Ziegler as Mortimer Brewster, and Janice Walter as Martha Brewster.

Following Aresnic will be the classic A Streetcar Named Desire. Louisville Repertory Company will present the show in February 2011. More information on the company's season can be found here.
