It's no secret that Fandom Fest is going to be huge this year.

Fandom Fest will kick off with a parade through downtown Louisville with plenty of floats, classic cars, and cosplayers. Throughout the weekend there will be panels, question and answer sessions, a body art show by Evil Fire Lizard, a rave, a masquerade ball, and an all cosplay costume party. There will also be plenty of vendors, exhibitors, and creators.

Wait, did I mention celebrities? So many celebrities are coming to Fandom Fest. I've listed a few below.

Karl Urban of Star Trek, Lord of the Rings, and Dredd. Eliza Dushku of Buffy and Angel. Ksenia Solo of Lost Girl. Morena Baccarin and Sean Maher of Firefly and Serenity. Sylvester McCoy of Doctor Who and the Hobbit. Ray Park from Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. Grant Bowler, Julie Benz, and Tony Curran of Defiance. Sam Huntington, Sam Witwer, and Meaghan Rath from Being Human. From Star Trek: The Next Generation, Brent Spiner, Marta Sirtis, Levar Burton, Gates McFadden, Johnathan Frakes, and Michael Dorn will all be in attendance. Bruce Boxleitner from Tron. Kevin Sorbo from Hercules. George Wendt from Cheers. Voice actor Neil Kaplan and the Comic Book Men.

Plus, celebrity authors and artists will also be attending the convention.

Fandom Fest is August 1st through 3rd at the Kentucky International Convention Center with night events taking place at the Galt House.

Visit www.fandomfest.com for more information including ticket, autograph, and photo op options. It's going to be a great weekend!
