In 1959 seventeen women formed "The Fillies Club" to aid the Derby Festival in producing a gala Derby Ball. The Fillies currently have a limited membership of 250 ladies that work harder than ever in supporting the Kentucky Derby Festival. This year they did not disappoint with a beautifully styled and uniquely illuminated event space. The patrons brought their sense of fashion out for the event filled with cocktails, dinner, dancing, and of course the coronation! While the Princesses are all beautiful, they back it up with brains and community involvement that makes them the total package. It was a fantastic time had by all, filled with some tasteful trends and some not-so-tasteful ones... I'll let you be the judge.
