This Saturday at 6PM, the PNC club at Papa John’s Stadium is playing host to a benefit gala for the Meredith-Dunn School. The first annual “Take Heart” gala is also hosting an auction, and all proceeds will go to support the school, which specializes in programs for students with learning differences and specialized education needs.
Specialized education can be the key to success for students with individualized needs, and Meredith-Dunn provides exactly what those children require. All funds, however, come from parents and fund raising events, and as such money is always tight. If you’re interested in attending, there are still tables available - see the link at the end of this article.
Tickets for the event are $75 per person, and include admission and a meal, which is sure to be impressive. There’s also a vegetarian option (I’ll be covering the event, so I had to be sure). The special guest will be Ken Lolla, the head coach of the UofL men’s soccer team. His son attends Meredith-Dunn.
Come out and support this wonderful cause - eat, socialize and bid on some wonderful items. Hope to see you there!
