Four Roses and Nanz & Kraft Partner to Benefit Brightside and a Greener Community
Four Roses Flower Hour, which benefits Louisville’s beautification program Brightside, will occur during Nanz & Kraft’s one-night special extended hours at the St. Matthews location. Flower Hour will give those struggling to find time to order their Valentine’s gifts one more shot at getting their sweetheart a dozen roses while they enjoy Four Roses bourbon tastings and mingle with master distiller, Jim Rutledge.
Flower Hour also will feature the first public viewing of the 2009 Gallopalooza horse designs set to decorate Louisville from April through October, and raise funds for community beautification projects done in partnership with Brightside. Also, guests can watch an actual Gallopalooza horse come to life, as one of the Gallopalooza artists will work on a horse sculpture live in the florist shop.
Four Roses Flower Hour is set for Thursday, February 12 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Nanz & Kraft Florist (141 Breckenridge Lane) in St. Matthews. A minimum $5 donation to Brightside includes Bourbon tastings, hors d’oeuvres and a 10 percent discount on all Nanz & Kraft items. Master Distiller Jim Rutledge will be on hand to meet guests, discuss Bourbon or sign bottles.
