Football-loving gals, why should guys have all the fun? This coming Saturday, June 4, Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium is all yours for Coach Charlie Strong’s Women’s Football Clinic. Registration for this daylong athletic camp, which is expected to attract about 500, begins at 9 a.m., followed by a morning session at the stadium’s Brown & Williamson Club (third floor, stadium west side). The session will include talks by Strong and other coaches, players’ wives, trainers, the Cards’ equipment manager and some UofL football team members. After lunch (included), participants are welcome to can don shoulder pads and participate in drills and other exercises on the game field from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
