Put a little light in your night by joining the runners, walkers, joggers, and dancers at Glow Go 5k for a run and after-party under the Big 4 Bridge in downtown Louisville's waterfront park on Saturday, July 26, 2014.
Promoters recently announced that Cash Cash will perform during the after-party which is exclusive to attendees. If you love a good cardio song to sweat to, add Cash Cash’s billboard hit “Take Me Home” to your fitness playlist and prepare to jam out to this high-energy song.
Joey Wagner, event producer said that he is "Excited for our 2nd Annual Glow Go 5K Illuminated by Sun Tan City and Planet Fitness that benefits RaiseRED. There are a lot of 5K’s in Louisville produced by out of town companies so seeing how the community supports our event that is produced by locally owned event companies is great. We transform the Big Four Bridge & the Waterfront into an amazing pop up venue that is just different and combining a concert after the 5K just sets us apart from everyone else.”
RaiseRED is the University of Louisville's largest student run leadership charitable organization raising funds to benefit the work of the University of Louisville's pediatric hematology, cancer, and stem cell transplantation clinic. “The students are so exited about our partnership with Glow Go 5k. We are looking forward to the event on July 26th and we are grateful to be the benefiting organization. With the support of Glow Go 5k we are able to provide support to children and families in need and fun critical research to find cures.” said JP Davis, Major Gifts Director at UofL.
