Tickets for the show are $14 for adults, $12 for senior citizens, and $10 for students. Due to limited seating, reservations are highly recommended. All tickets can be purchased at the door or reserved by calling 502-633-0242.
The comedy Girls of the Garden Club deals with the antics of Rhoda Greenleaf and family as the election for garden club president nears. Rhoda wants to take over the presidency from incumbant Lillybelle and will stop at nothing to obtain it. This includes bringing forth a "talking" plant (with its own issues) and entering it into a flower show.
John Patrick created The Girls of the Garden Club, and Cook Farmer directed it. Reggie Van Stockum and Commonwealth Bank and Trust sponsored the show.
More information on the show can be found at the Shelby County Community Theatre website.
