Glass-letes and glass-lete teams will compete for the bronze, silver, and gold medal in five events:
Longest drip: glass artists will see who can get the tallest drip without touching the floor.

Biggest bubble: Who can blow the largest bubble in height and width?

Glass relay: Teams will be challenged to see who can pass a bubble most times in two minutes

Ornament race: Artists will race to see who can make a regular size ornament in the fastest amount of time

Cane pull: Cane is used to create patterns, lines, and designs in glass, but before you can use cane, you must stretch it out. This contest will judge who can pull the longest stretch of cane.

Marilee Burnside, Glassworks Tour Director, will serve as a commentator for the event. Audience members will become the official judges for the event. Teams and individual “medals” will be awarded. You won’t want to miss this fun event inspired by the excitement of the 2008 Summer Game Olympics in Bejiing.
