Grammy nominated comedian is on her way to Louisville

Live Nation is at it again and is bringing critically acclaimed comedian Margaret Cho to The Louisville Palace on Saturday, September 20 at 8:00 p.m. along with Liam Sullivan. Turning each into a concert film, Margaret Cho has launched four national tours over the past eight years. In 1999, Cho’s groundbreaking one-woman show, One That I Want, turned into a best selling book and a concert film, grossing more per print than any film in history. Cho’s second tour Notorious C.H.O., concluded with a sold-out show at Carnegie Hall, and in 2004 the CD of her Revolution tour was nominated for a Grammy. Margaret Cho delivers her trademark risqué wit in her second book titled I Have Chosen to Stay and Fight and in her most recent concert film, Assassin. Cho hosted a 16-city music festival last summer, the Inaugural True Colors tour, in support of the HRC. She also created and starred in a live variety show called The Sensuous Woman, featuring vaudevillian burlesque and comedy, which she took for a successful, off-Broadway run last fall. Beautiful is Margaret Cho’s first stand-up tour in three years and is eagerly awaited by fans! Tickets ($42.50 & $29.50) are on sale now at LiveNation.com, at the Palace box office, any Ticketmaster outlet, or by phone at 502.361.3100.
