Are you looking for a fun date night or girl’s night out option in Louisville? Look no further than Chef Maria’s Greek Deli. Here, starting on Saturday, June 14, you can learn the art of Greek cooking and food preparation with a lesson with Chef Maria in her schedule of Greek cooking classes. Learn the art and style of Greek and Mediterranean food, right here in St. Matthews!
There is no limit on how many classes you sign up for; a class runs for $35.00 (payable through a PayPal account) and includes an outstanding evening of fun.
According to Chef Maria, “Greek food is fresh, healthy, delicious, and aromatic. Every food is a necessity. Greek food is a pleasure.” She uses all fresh vegetables, fresh herbs and fresh meats. Some of the dishes that you can learn to cook Greek style are moussaka, Greek salad, pastitsio, spinach pie, stuffed grape leaves, chicken gyros, Greek meatballs, baklava, Piroski (sausage roll) and many a more yummies.
Chef Maria’s Greek Deli is located at 102 Fairfax Avenue, in the heart of St. Matthews. You can view the full schedule of Greek cooking classes here. I’m signing myself up now.
