Out of the facility and in the house for the holidays, Bunbury Theatre presents A Hanukkah Christmas with Klurman and Goldstein beginning tonight.
A Hanukkah Christmas performances will take place Dec. 2, 3, 9, 10, 14, 16, and 17 at 7:30 p.m. each night. Matinees, meanwhile, will go on Dec. 4, 11, and 18 at 2 p.m. each day. All performances are to happen at Bunbury Theatre, located in the Henry Clay Building at 604 S. Third Street in the Old Louisville section.
Tickets for each show are $21 for general admission, $18 for senior citizens, and $18 for students. All tickets can be purchased by calling 502-585-5306, going to the Bunbury Theatre website, or at the door. Keep in mind, the play does include mature themes.
Anyone who saw the play Assisted Living may recognize the main characters in A Hanukkah Christmas with Klurman and Goldstein. (Don't worry if you haven't seen the prior show.) The duo now have moved in with Goldstein's daughter-in-law. When Klurman's estranged family arrives for the holidays, comedy and dysfunctional lives take center stage.
During A Hanukkah Christmas's run, Bunbury will also present the one-man show, The Santaland Diaries. Performances will run from Dec. 7-18. More information can be found at the Bunbury Theatre website.
