Louisville's longest running LGBT monthly event Hard Candy kicks off Kentuckiana Pride week with a bang - Adore Delano will be the featured guest for Wednesday's installment. Hard Candy host Daniel Cole says the response for Adore has been incredible, fans driving from all over the region to see her perform.
Before Adore Delano, there was Danny Noriega, who was a semifinalist on American Idol's 7th season. Danny's performance evolved into drag queen Adore Delano - and his large YouTube following came along for the ride. Then, Delano landed a spot on RuPaul's Drag Race, making it all the way to the top 3. Not to be discouraged by not winning the crown, Adore released her first album "Til Death Do Us Party" a few weeks later, breaking Billboard chart records for a Drag Race alumni.
Catch Adore Delano performing live at Hard Candy, hosted by Play Louisville. Showtimes at 10 PM & 12 AM, also featuring the cast of Louisville Playmates.
General Admission $10 - get there early, it's going to be a full house.
