Tuna Does Vegas

Hardin County Playhouse and the citizens of Tuna, Texas, will take audiences on a joyous romp through Vegas in Tuna Does Vegas, which opens tonight.

Tuna Does Vegas will take place on Jan. 31, Feb. 1, 6, 7, and 8 at 7 p.m. each night. Matinees will happen on Feb. 2 and 9 at 3 p.m. each day. All performances are to go on at Plum Alley Theater, located in the State Theater complex at 209 West Dixie Ave. in Elizabethtown, KY.

Tickets for each show are $18 for adults, $15 for seniors 55 and over, students, and military members and dependents. The Feb. 6 show will be a "pay-what-you-can" sliding scale with a minimum of $10 per person. All tickets can be purchased at the door, by calling the box office at 270-351-0577, or online at the Hardin County Playhouse website.

Tuna, Texas, won't have anyone in it for a few days. That's because all the residents are in Las Vegas celebrating the renewing of vows between that wacky conservative radio host Arles Struvie and his wife. Of course, with the residents of Tuna taking over Vegas, plenty of hijinks are bound to happen.

Bo Cecil and Josh Logsdon star in Tuna Does Vegas, which Jaston Williams, Joe Sears and Ed Howard created.

Following Tuna Does Vegas, Hardin County Playhouse will present Death and the Maiden. The show will run in April, and auditions will happen on Feb. 10 and 11.
