Wasabiya is the newest sushi restaurant in Louisville located at 962 Baxter Ave. I've eaten there once and really enjoyed it, but was surprised to find this sign hanging above the rear entrance.

This sign is in my neighborhood and hard to miss. At first glance it is just another beer advertisement, but then you look twice. Miller Lite and Sushi?!  Really?! That seems like a pretty far stretch to me. Miller Lite is the drink of all the dudes from Michigan State that live in Chicago, but still go to "State" bars. They are not your typical sushi eater...maybe a california roll, but I don't think that counts. I just hope that Wasabiya has good incentive to hang such a sign because it really doesn't seem to fit the image they are going for in the front of the building. I don't think I need to say more.
