What could help make putting Miss Kentucky in the top 15 of Miss America even better than it already would be? The story she hopes to tell if she does make it the top 15. Her story involves a cause near and dear to the hearts of all those involved with Best of Louisville. As most of you know, Best of Louisville is a charity event done in conjunction with the National MS Society every year.
This year's Miss Kentucky, Ramsey Carpenter, has MS. If she makes it into the top 15 of the Miss America, she will have a chance to tell her story to thousands of young people around the country facing the same struggles that she has been through. A story of overcoming obstacles and adversity to become the first ever Miss Kentucky with MS and hopefully the first ever Miss American with MS.
Please visit this link MissAmerica.org to listen to her story in her own words, and to cast your vote for Ramsey to be America's Choice! Voting for America's Choice ends on September 12th!
